Hailing from the soaring peaks of the Hunan province and scented with delicate white jasmine blossoms, oriental jasmine green is known as the oldest scented tea in China. Hunan borders a number of other tea-producing provinces, including Guangxi ‘the city of Chinese jasmine’ – where the jasmine flowers come from. Hunan’s subtropical climate is ideal for tea, the rich soil and small variations in temperature through the day produce a very fragrant and beautiful green tea.
